About
Who publishes this, and who pays for it
CourtBaseline is an independent reference for padel court construction in the United States. We publish what a court actually costs, how much space it needs, and which specification choices move the number. Everything is free to read and nothing is gated.
How this is funded, stated plainly. Builders pay a fixed monthly fee for exclusive access to enquiries from their region. They do not pay per enquiry, per quote, or per contract signed. No builder or manufacturer pays to influence what we publish about costs, specifications or their competitors. Project owners pay nothing at any point.
Why a fixed fee rather than a commission
Because the incentives are different and the difference shows up in what a site like this tells you. A commission on the finished contract rewards talking you into a larger project. A fee per lead rewards volume over fit. A fixed monthly territory fee rewards neither. It means we have no financial reason to tell you a six-court club is better than the two you came here to price.
Why one builder per region
Most quote-matching sites send your details to four, five or six companies at once and are paid by each of them. You get a week of phone calls and every company knows it is one of six, which is not a position anyone quotes their best work from. We send your project to the single builder holding your region. If nobody holds it, we tell you that instead of routing you to a company two states away.
Where our numbers come from
Cost ranges are compiled from published US installer quotations and international project cost guides, stated per court and exclusive of land. Court geometry follows the International Padel Federation Rules of Padel. Construction practice references the American Sports Builders Association guidelines. Where a figure is a planning range rather than a measured value, we say so on the page.

What we are not
- We do not build, import, sell or install padel courts.
- We are not a licensed contractor, architect or engineer, and nothing here is engineering advice.
- We are not party to any contract you sign with a builder and take no commission on it.
Who runs it
CourtBaseline is operated by Casey Dellas, Managing Member, from New York. It is a small independent operation rather than a lead-generation network, which is why there is one builder per region and why email reaches a person.
Builders
If you build padel courts and want to hold a territory, write to [email protected] with the regions you cover, the number of courts you have completed, and who insures you. One company holds each region, and we will tell you honestly if yours is taken.
